Less than two weeks after his baptism, little did he know that he would be fighting for his physical life. On March 19th, Stephen’s world changed when he went to the hospital ER, and after a week’s stay, was diagnosed with COVID-19.“I have a strong testimony of what God can do. Jesus gives you all hope. I knew I would make it through. God gave me a clear picture that I was going to go on, and God has made me whole. God is a miracle worker.”
Michael starts each day with joy. While he once struggled with homelessness, he is now a full-time staff member with the Mission with his own apartment – a dream come true. “Every person at Sunday Breakfast has taught me something, they have shown me who I can be… who I should be,” Michael says in a quiet voice. “Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission saved my life,” Michael continues.
In addition to meeting basic life needs for men, the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission enables those men who are committed to a positive life change to address their problems through a 12-month transitional housing program
