Sunday Breakfast would like to come alongside you in this difficult stage of life.

Helping the HUNGRY, Homeless and Hurting

If you’ve made a mistake or have fallen on hard times, Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission is here to help.  Part of the Christian faith is we believe that we all fall short of the glory of God. Because we all fall short, He commands us to work with each other and the Holy Spirit to learn and become more like Jesus. With the help of others and the Holy Spirit, we can find peace and contentment living lives in communion with God as our loving Father. At Sunday Breakfast, we are not just a homeless shelter or soup kitchen as you will find chaplains who can come alongside you and help you move forward with your life.

Do You Need Help?

Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission would like to come alongside you in this difficult stage of life.

The Meals program for the public, those who are not emergency shelter guests, and NEXT Level program residents, is on pause as we respond to COVID-19.

The Mission serves three meals, every day of the year. Meals are available to anyone regardless of gender or any other factors. Please arrive before the times designated below to receive a meal. Breakfast: 7:00 AM Lunch: Noon) Dinner: 6:30 PM

Men’s Emergency Shelter

  • To receive a bed, please arrive before 7:00 PM.
  • Your bag will be checked, and you will receive a meal and a shower before bed.
  • You do not need to call ahead, but if you have questions please call the homeless services team at (215) 922-6400 ext. 1050.
  • The Mission is located at 302 N. 13th Street in Philadelphia, just north of Vine Street. The closest public transportation is the Race/Vine stop of the Broad Street Line.
  • When you arrive, please use the entrance off Pearl Street.

If you know somebody who needs a meal and a place to stay, please offer them this information to help them find their way to our shelter in Center City. During extreme temperatures, overflow sleeping cots are used to ensure that no one will be turned away. Men are able to stay with us for thirty days at a time.

Part of being human is that we aren’t perfect and need to lean on each other for support.

Serving Women

Women are welcome at the Mission for meals!

If you are a woman in need of a place to stay for yourself and your children then consider Apple Tree Family Center, (215) 686-7150. Appletree Family Center is located at 1430 Cherry St, Philadelphia, PA 19102.  It is open daily from 7AM to 3PM.
