Serving others is a great way to show compassionate care to your community. With a variety of opportunities, it doesn’t take much to volunteer with Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, and by doing so you are impacting the lives of your homeless neighbors for the better!
While COVID-19 continues to keep safety and sanitation at the forefront of everyone’s minds, we are offering limited volunteer opportunities. To learn more about our response to COVID and volunteering, check out our multi-phase plan for conducting onsite volunteer activities.
Sunday Breakfast is officially in Green Phase 1: All existing SBRM volunteers may return, and new volunteers may begin to serve using the VolunteerHub portal to sign-up. The number of volunteers per shift will be greatly reduced to accommodate safe social distancing guidelines. Specific PPE will be required by all volunteers which will include masks, as well as gloves for all front-line roles.
Please email, [email protected], with any questions.
By joining our team, you can help transform lives! One meal can start your homeless friends on a journey toward a renewed life. One smile from a compassionate volunteer can lift the spirit of a hurting individual. And one pair of donated shoes can give your homeless neighbor the strength to stand on their feet again! We all have a part to play in ending the tragedy of homelessness. Together we can make a difference!
In addition to meeting basic life needs for men, the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission enables those men who are committed to a positive life change to address their problems through a 12-month transitional housing program
Volunteer opportunities for groups with Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission take place at our Center City and Germantown locations.
