Ways To Give
Each year we welcome guests to join us for a Thanksgiving feast, and despite the challenges, we have faced, this year is no different! We remain committed to safely serving every person who comes to the Mission for a meal this Thanksgiving. Increasing the cost of this year’s celebration, creating new dining spaces, expanding the hours of meal service, and fortifying sanitation protocols are strategies to host the feast as we have always done.
Life transformation often starts with a meal. Thanksgiving, unlike many other meals, provides the opportunity to be family to people who need not only meals and shelter, but love, care, and hope. This Thanksgiving we will be starting conversations and identifying needed resources for our guests. Like in our own families, these conversations happen best when enjoying the holiday
together. This year our guests will enjoy a football game with our new dining room AV system, and after the meal, guests can enjoy our “backyard” courtyard. During these times of celebration and fun, God will open doors, and some of our guests will take steps toward their future.
We encourage you to partner with us and prepare a plate for one of our guests. Please ask your friends, family, church, neighbors, and co-workers to join with you to raise funds required to ensure there is a place for everyone at our special Thanksgiving table.
