What We Do
ONE CARD. TWO DOLLARS. ONE MEAL.
More than 6,000 men, women, and children will be homeless during the holidays. For these individuals, Christmas can be full of loneliness and despair.
Help the homeless and hurting experience the joy of Christmas! There is still time for you to send words of encouragement to those in need. Spread holiday cheer, by mailing handwritten cards to Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission that will be given to homeless men and women on Christmas Day.
Sunday Breakfast will be receiving cards from now through Dec. 20. Cards must be postmarked by Dec. 15 to ensure guests receive them Christmas Day! Can’t swing by a mailbox? No worries! Drop your cards off at the Mission located at 302 N. 13th Street, Philadelphia, during business hours (8am-4pm, Monday-Friday)!
In addition to meeting basic life needs for men, the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission enables those men who are committed to a positive life change to address their problems through a 12-month transitional housing program
Volunteer opportunities for groups with Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission take place at our Center City and Germantown locations.
Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission would like to come alongside you in this difficult stage of life. Be sure to visit the Mission at 13th and Vine or call our Homeless Services Team at (215) 922-6400 ext. 1050.
Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission is committed to transparency in our daily operations, as we seek to be wise stewards on behalf of our donors.
