Helping the Homeless
Concern for both the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless in Philadelphia has defined Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission for the past 130 years.
Our emergency services and long-term residential recovery programs provide caring and practical help for those in need.
It's no secret that Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission depends upon your goodwill to continue providing meals and shelter to those in need. Keep reading to learn about ways that you can get involved. When everyone works together, we can make a big difference.
New Thrift Store open in Penndel
Our new store is now open in the former Cooperative Furniture building in Penndel. Stop by and check out some great deals, or donate all the extra stuff that's taking up space in your closet. All proceeds benefit the mission.
The store has received coverage in the Bucks County Courier Times and the Bucks Local News.
Learn more here, or view our advertisement from the Bucks County Courier Times. Clock on the image below to view photos from the new store.

Sponsor Meals
We provide more than 100,000 meals each year, which takes quite a lot of food! Would you consider sponsoring meals (just $2.04 each) so that a homeless person could eat for free? Learn more or donate now.
Volunteer
We need volunteers to sort the food that is being collected from food drives. We also have opportunities for serving meals. Individuals or groups are welcome. Click here or call Chris at (215) 922-6400 x105.
Hold a food drive
Would your church, school, business or organization be able to collect food items for the Mission? We make it easy by providing all the materials you will need. Learn more here or call Richard at (215) 922-6400 x110.
